The English Nursery Final was held in Tean, Staffordshire by kind permission of the Minshull family on Sunday 26th February. Judged by Ed Thornalley and Colin Pickford, 15 Societies competed against each other for the team prize with 3 dogs apiece. The EASS sent a team consisting of Ed Hawkins & Jock (team captain), Dee Chapman & Killibrae Kyle and Lisa Kasel-Seibert & Lignum Frost with Graham Baldry & Non as Reserve. We were lucky enough to have sponsorship for our team again this year from Fakenham Farm & Equine Vets – who provided the team jackets for the second year in a row.
Team EASS finished 11th out of 15 teams with a team score of 246. Team Captain, Ed Hawkins running Jock finished in 5th place with a score of 157 and qualifies for the 4 Nations Nursery Final on Saturday 18th March. Good Luck Ed!
